The Town Board will discuss the STR Committee's draft of proposed regulations for STRs in Taghkanic at the upcoming meeting scheduled for Zoning Review, on June 20th at 6:30 p.m.
As always, members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting, either in person at the Town Hall, or by Zoom from the comfort of home. The Zoom link will be available on the Town of Taghkanic website.
Our webmaster has created a folder on the Town website to make available not just the Committee's draft of proposed regulations, but a number of other supporting and informative documents as well. These include correspondence that has been received by the STR Committee, both from owners of existing STRs in Taghkanic and from other residents of the town. Please read up and get engaged in the conversation; this is a topic of interest in many rural communities like ours, and the Board will want to really understand all the points of view in our community.
