As a reminder, property owners who have been enrolled members of an incorporated volunteer fire company, fire department or incorporated voluntary ambulance service, or such enrolled member and spouse residing in the Town of Taghkanic who provides such volunteer services to a neighboring city, village, town, county, or school district for a minimum of two years, can apply for exemption RP-466-a-vol. Form RP-466-a-vol Application for Volunteer Firefighters/Ambulance Workers Exemption Revised 11/24. Forms and certificate issued by the authority must be mailed to the Assessor’s office by 3/1/2025. Please mail documents to Town of Taghkanic Assessor’s Office, 909 Route 82 Ancram, NY 12502.Â
