New Section of Rail Trail Open

Dutchess County has officially opened sections of the Harlem Valley Rail Trail from Millerton to Under Mountain Rd in Ancram. The short closed section should be open by the end of November (weather permitting).
There will be an official opening in the spring.
The Harlem Valley Rail Trail Association (HVRTA) is also actively working with engineers and consultants to finalize the plans for the construction of the bridge over Route 22 in Copake to connect the east and west sides of the trail. The construction is anticipated to begin in 2021.
