Join CLC President, Troy Weldy, and CLC Member of the Board of Trustees, Will Yandik, for a "Troy Trek" all about birds! Birders of all experience levels are welcome to attend.Â
Date and time:Â May 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Location:Â 48 Miller Rd, Ancram, NY 12502Â (a CLC conservation easement)

What's involved: We will walk up to 1.25 miles on an Ancram CLC conservation
easement, which features some moderately steep hills through mowed fields, low water crossings over streams, and forested trails. The group will stop often to identify birds and may shorten the distance traveled depending on time. A key feature of this easement is the beautiful Taghkanic Creek that runs through the property. Some seating will be available by the creek.
What to bring: Please bring a water bottle and wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. Bringing a camera and/or binoculars is recommended for this program.Â
Please, no dogs at this event.
Participants can register online here or by emailing Brielle.Long@ColumbiaLand.org.
